About Us
A fun and friendly local singing group with a wide range of members, young and old, from Wantage and beyond.
Wantage Sings is a community singing group that welcomes singers over 18, of all levels and backgrounds. We believe that singing is for everyone, and are passionate about sharing the joy we find in music.

We love to sing a variety of genres from musicals to pop, rock, country, disco... there really is something for everyone.
​
Whether you're a seasoned singer or just starting out, we'd love to have you on board. If you are interested in joining us, please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you!

Next Show
Our next show is full of the joys of the Musicals, from Broadway to the West End. Whether it was performed on stage or on screen we'll be celebrating it in our forthcoming concert.
Of course, with such a huge range of fantastic Musicals to choose from - from Les Miserables to The Greatest Showman, Oliver! to Mamma Mia and a whole world of shows between them - its been difficult to narrow down our song selections. So we invite you to come along to Steventon Village Hall on Friday 23 May or Old Mill Hall in Grove on Saturday 24 May and let us know if you agree with our choices.

Sing with us
You don't need to be able to read music and there are no auditions to join
You don’t need to be able to read music and there are no auditions to join and sing in the main group numbers - although there are always opportunities to audition for solos, duets or small group numbers, if you’re keen for more of the limelight!

It’s a great way to meet people - our half time break gives plenty of opportunity for chatting (over free tea, coffee and biscuits), and we also hold regular social events such as meals out, parties and theatre trips.
​
We put on two concerts a year and perform at other events throughout the year. New members are welcome to attend 2 rehearsals for free before committing themselves.
