About Us
A fun and friendly community choir, who love to sing, and perform on stage with a live band.
We are Wantage Sings, a fun and friendly community choir with a wide range of members from Wantage and beyond. We're not a franchise, so any member can suggest songs to perform. We love to sing a variety of genres from pop to rock, country, disco... basically if we can find the music (and sometimes when we can’t) we’ll give it a go.

We are always happy to welcome new members, so if you love to sing (even just in the shower), why not pop along to a rehearsal or two and see what we’re like. It’s a great way to meet new people.
There's no need to read sheet music and there are no auditions to join and sing in the main group numbers - although there are always opportunities to audition for solos, duets or small group numbers, if you’re keen for more of the limelight!

We perform with a live band, which is great fun. So why not come along and give us a go.

We meet on Wednesdays from 7:30pm at Wantage Methodist Hall (OX12 8DA). We look forward to meeting you at our next rehearsal...

"Their performances are full of energy and enthusiasm, and their passion for singing is contagious."

It’s a great way to meet people - our half time break gives plenty of opportunity for chatting (over free tea, coffee and biscuits), and we also hold regular social events such as meals out, parties and theatre trips.

We put on two concerts a year and perform at other events throughout the year. New members are welcome to attend 2 rehearsals for free before committing themselves.
